The first Bali Design Expo will display high quality home decor design, fashion design, jewellery and furniture from local manufacturers with a commitment to international quality and standards and export oriented.

The Bali Design Expo will be held for the first time this year within the Kuta Karnival on the 23rd and 24th of September 2006 from 10am – 9pm. The venue will be within the premises of the Bali Food Festival in Jalan Melasti, Kuta in front of Legian Beach Hotel and Bali Mandira Hotel, facing the beach.

Over 20 exclusive and selected exhibitors will display their latest designs and adjoining the Expo will be a Bali Home Decor Design Competition open to public and professionals alike, enhancing design development in Bali .

The Design Competition will be juried by fashion coryphées Milo and Ika Mardiana, photographer Rio Helmi, Adam Fenton of Bali Style Magazine, Carl Dagenhart of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Laia Gil of Te Honu and Regina Beladona of NOVICA National Geographic Group. 

Both events are organized by the Bali Export Development Organization (BEDO) a membership non-profit export development and promotion organization based in Bali, Indonesia.
